Cramerton, NC is situated perfectly within the Charlotte Metro Region to provide efficient access to multiple higher education opportunities.  Within 10 minutes driving distance to Belmont Abbey College and Gaston College, 30 minutes from UNC Charlotte, Central Piedmont Community College, and Queens University, Cramerton is the ideal location to establish roots and encourage higher education.  Cramerton is also the beneficiary of being centrally located in one of the best areas to raise school age children because of our great access to the following:

Stuart W. Cramer High School - The newest high school in Gaston County opened its doors in 2013.  It has an award winning fine arts program and a solid B grade on the state school report card.  S.W.C.H.S. is home to career and technical educational programs such as welding, emergency medical technician,health sciences, culinary arts, business and Adobe visual design.  The High School's 90 acre campus and facilities were featured as a model example in American School and University magazine's 2014 architectural portfolio as a national model in educational architectural design.

Cramerton Middle School - Cramerton Middle School has consistently exceeded academic growth and had one of it's teachers recognized as the Linda Rader New Teacher of the Year in 2018.  In the arts, Cramerton Middle School had the Scholastic Gold Key Award Winner and two Scholastic Silver Key winners ins 2019.  CMS won five county athletic championships during the 2018 and 2019 school year.  The middle school is also the proud home to the new Gifted and Talented Academy, established in 2020.

New Hope Elementary School - Consistently receiving a solid B grade on the state school report card, New Hope Elementary continues to be one of the best performing public elementary school in Gaston County.

Cramerton Christian Academy - Founded in 1977, CCA prides itself on a diverse student body representing over 24 different cities, a 20:1 student to teacher ratio and a 100% graduation rate.  The school is housed on a 40-acre campus with day care facilities, an administrative building, an art studio, a Children's Indoor Play Gym, classroom buildings, music facilities, and the Roy Rickard Activities Building - a combination classroom, gymnasium, and cafeteria. 

Gaston Christian School - Opening its doors in 1980, GCS is a non-denominational, college-pre-preparatory school serving more than 900 students in grades PK-3 through 12.  Gaston Christian School is home to the County's newest, state of the art Fine Arts Center that opened in 2018.
