Police Officer

The Cramerton Police Department is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of police officer. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma OR have completed a General Education Development (GED) program. Applicants must possess a valid Law Enforcement Certification from the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission OR be currently enrolled in a North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) course. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.  The Town provides a competitive benefits package.  Selections for employment will be made on the basis of applicant qualifications. Zoning Permits

Whether you're building a new home, accessory structure, or pool, or starting a new business, it is very likely that you will need to obtain a Zoning Permit.  Zoning Permits are issued by the Planning and Zoning Department, and are required by Gaston County Building Inspections prior to issuing most permits.  You can find the application for a zoning permit in our Document Center; contact the Planning Department at Town Hall for additional information.
