Public works Crew Member

Full-time openings in the Public Works Department for a crew member position.  Minimum requirements are: basic mechanical skills, public communication skills, ability to work in all weather conditions, and endurance in working a physical workday. A valid NC driver’s license and current CDL endorsement is preferred. Cramerton Seasonal Leaf Collection Worker

The Town of Cramerton will be accepting applications for two (2) seasonal leaf collection workers. Applications are available at Cramerton Town Hall (155 N. Main Street, Cramerton) OR at the Town’s website:

 Applicants will be required to work 40 hours per week from November 1st until February 1st removing loose piles of leaves around town with a collection truck. Hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Driver’s license and drug screening are required. Applicant will be required to work outside in all weather conditions and must be able to pick up and move at least 50 pounds. Starting salary $11.00 per hour depending on qualifications. Police Officer

The Cramerton Police Department is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of police officer. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma OR have completed a General Education Development (GED) program. Applicants must possess a valid Law Enforcement Certification from the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission OR be currently enrolled in a North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) course. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.  The Town provides a competitive benefits package.  Selections for employment will be made on the basis of applicant qualifications. Zoning Permits
