Code Enforcement is responsible for enforcing the nuisance codes within the Town's Code of Ordinances. The nuisance codes are found generally in Chapter 92 of the Code of Ordinances, and generally involve property maintenance issues such as tall grass and noxious weeds, storage of junk, trash and debris, and abandoned or junked vehicles on private property. Code Enforcement also handles Minimum Housing cases, which involve homes that have become uninhabitable due to damage or neglect.
