Cramerton Veterans Memorial
The Town of Cramerton is proud to pay a much deserved tribute to the men and women who have served our Country in the Armed Forces.
To that end, the Town has constructed a Veterans Memorial plaza in Centennial Center directly across the intersection from Cramerton Town Hall. This beautiful memorial features a bronze statues of a World War II soldier dressed in Cramerton Army Cloth and his daughter, representing family sacrifice and sense of pride, both saluting the American Flag that flies proudly nearby. Directly behind the statues is the Honor Wall displaying the names of those Cramerton residents that made the ultimate sacrifice, and were either killed in action, killed in service or are designated missing in action. The second wall tells the story of Cramerton Khaki and the role that our citizens played in the war effort. The third wall has a dedication message and a list of the major contributors who made it a reality. The Memorial also features five service pillars which each pay tribute to a branch of the U.S. Military.
The Cramerton Veterans Memorial was dedicated on November 10th, 2018. To view more images from the Dedication Ceremony, please click the link below.
