Streets and Maintenance
The street and maintenance department has five full time employees with a combined total of 63 years of experience.

The main function of the street and maintenance department is the collection of residential bulk item solid waste, white goods, yard waste, tree limbs, and trimmings. This department also keeps the streets clean by picking up papers, weed eating and cleaning with a blower. Other activities include repairing and replacing street and traffic signs, planting trees and shrubs in designated places, and leaf collection. Inspections
The inspections department is in charge of inspections of all major repair work and new construction for streets, water and wastewater lines and accessories.
This is a newly created department and will work closely with developers and contractors.
One of the duties of this department is to make open pit and final inspections of all water and wastewater service lines being attached to the town systems for compliance to town specifications.
Charles Hastings, who is also the Public Works Director, with 33 years experience in public works, water, and wastewater, leads this department.
